Promises broken is a very cool Soul Asylum song, just heard a cover of it in October Road, a new tv show on cable. It’s about a guy who wrote a volume and said some pretty nasty stuff about everyone around him under cover of fiction. Of course, when you write, books, songs or whatever, people always wonder if it’s about them. In fact they assume it’s about them. So when he came back to his home town, everybody hate his guts and want some revenge.

Why am I telling this? because I did play a song I wrote for someone very special, someone I can say she changed everything in my life, I always thought how It would be special to play it for her and actually there wasn’t much to say about it, because it’s a thing of the past.

The ones you loved are a bit like the undead in Salem by Stephen King, they come to haunt you at nighttime when you’re lonely but they can’t enter if you don’t invite them, you just gotta do like they weren’t there, never open that door again. it’s no use.
